For 1999, RCR VIII was held at Rider's Roost near Ferguson in the northwest corner of North Carolina. catness was the Oompah for the event. The weather was brutally hot and humid. The heat index on Friday measured over 115 degrees. The picture above is of the stream which runs next to the campground.
